Dads job

My dad has a pretty important job. Ill give you a clue  he measures rivers go's out on a boat and used to dive if you guessed a science technician you were right.He go's down to Antarctica up to New Plymouth he go's all over to NZ rivers to measure there flow, height,Clearness and even flow. But I love best of all hearing what happened when he comes back and also going to his work to see all kinds of fish they have in there tanks there like last week they had some hapuka (groper)and he explained to me although the ones in the tank were this big (                                                                        ) they can actually get to be bigger than a human. Um believable right.He also told me interesting facts like how to tell how old a fish is by its otolith(fishes ear bone) how old they are and how to tell a boy lobster from a girl and all other interesting details.

dont give up gull

"huh I'm nearly (pant) running (pant) out of (pant) breath! I'm just going to give up. But mum said Never give up! that's right watch out I'm coming fish and chips. meanwhile a human was scoffing down there salty,hot,crispy chips while another was eating the delicious fish."watch out here i come."yelled out the gull (although the humans just herd squawk squawk squawk) he soared down faster than ever his wings cut through the air like the propellers of an helicopter.just as he was going to snatch them off them the humans both tugged the tray down at the same time.the gull missed and instead hit his head on the statue...When he woke up humans were crowding around him. he noticed in the back ground a fisherman with some sort of fish he caught in a bucket so he took that istead.the end
